The main benefit of the leaderboard is it sits at the top of the site, always above the fold when the user arrives on the page.
Like the leaderboard, the MPU sits near the top of the site, always above the fold when the user arrives on the page.
The HPU (half page unit) sits near the middle of the site, always above the fold when the user arrives on the page.
The Mobile Banner sits in a fixed position at the bottom of the mobile screen, making it very visible to users.
The Mobile Interstitial is a timed pop up ad that sits over the content, the user must either click on or close the ad for it to disappear.
High Impact Formats
These digital banner advertising formats typically assume more real estate on a screen (desktop or mobile device) and come with interactive features to help drive your objectives – clicks, interactions, or other engagement.
The Cascade ad is a high impact large format ad unit, users click to initiate the ‘cascading effect’ in which several panels open to reveal a wealth of advertiser content. Each panel can have a different purpose, including video,or image carousels.
Large billboard ad unit running the full width of the page. Digital Billboards are highly customisable, with functionality ranging from video and social integration to storyboarding and continuous looping animations.
Expanding from the MPU, the Sidekick format combines an In-Page ad with a large Floating ad. When a user clicks or rolls their mouse over the MPU, the page scrolls out of view to allow space for the Sidekick.
Wallpapers allows advertisers to brand the website for a specified period of time by leveraging the unused left and right hand sides of the page. The wallpapers will remain in a fixed position even as the user scrolls through the page.
The Mobile Expand combines a Mobile Banner with a large Floating ad. When a user clicks on the Mobile Banner, a larger ad that fills the screen, appears above the content and can also display video.
Rich Media Formats
Rich Media ads deliver high engagement rates with audiences. In addition to text or a static image, these powerful advertising banners can accommodate audio and video.
The Desktop Takeover combines four ad units, the Leaderboard, MPU, Half Page, and Wallpapers. The advertiser essentially takes over all advertising units on a given page for a specified amount of time.
This format combines three ad units, Leaderboard, MPU and Half Page and allows them to work in a synchronized fashion. For example, a particular movement, such as a ball rolling can start in the Half Page and roll through the MPU up to the Leaderboard.
Mobile Interactive formats
Mobile Interactive Expandables combine Mobile Banners with a large Format that fills the screen. When a user clicks on the Mobile Banner, the larger format appears enabling the user to interact with and effect its content. This includes highly interactive games.
